Ingredients
Scale
- 12 lumpia wrappers
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 3–4 sprays cooking spray
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 stalk green onions, chopped, optional
Instructions
- Combine low-sodium soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, and white pepper in a small mixing bowl.
- Whisk until the garlic powder dissolves completely and the ingredients are evenly blended.
- Place one lumpia wrapper on a clean, dry work surface.
- Brush both sides of the wrapper lightly with the soy-sesame mixture using a pastry brush.
- Sprinkle about 1/8 teaspoon sesame seeds across the coated wrapper.
- Cut the seasoned wrapper diagonally to create 2 triangular pieces.
- Repeat the seasoning and cutting process with the remaining lumpia wrappers.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for 3 minutes.
- Arrange the lumpia chips in a single layer inside the air fryer basket without overlapping.
- Air fry for 8 minutes.
- Shake the basket gently at the 5-minute mark for even browning.
- Continue cooking until the chips are golden brown and crispy.
- Transfer the cooked chips to a cooling rack.
- Let the chips cool for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
- Store cooled chips in an airtight container for maximum freshness.
Notes
Brush the wrappers lightly to avoid sogginess, and do not overlap chips in the air fryer basket. Cool completely before storing so the chips stay crispy.
