- 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin, approximately 3 packets
- 1 scoop protein powder, approximately 25-30 grams
- 1 cup fruit juice or flavored liquid, 240 milliliters
Instructions
- Measure 1 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin into a small mixing bowl.
- Pour 1 cup of room-temperature fruit juice over the gelatin gradually while stirring constantly.
- Allow the mixture to sit undisturbed for about 2 minutes so the gelatin granules absorb the liquid properly.
- Add 1 scoop of protein powder to the gelatin mixture.
- Whisk vigorously until completely smooth and free of lumps.
- Pour the smooth mixture into serving dishes, small bowls, or a rectangular baking dish.
- Place the dishes in the refrigerator.
- Chill for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
- Test firmness by gently shaking the dish; the surface should jiggle slightly but hold its shape.
- Remove from the refrigerator and serve cold.
Notes
Use room-temperature juice to prevent protein powder from clumping. Whisk thoroughly after adding protein powder, and chill for the full 4 hours for the best firm gelatin texture.
