Instructions
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice into a glass.
- Pour in the room temperature filtered water.
- Measure and slowly add the baking soda to the lemon water mixture.
- Stir continuously while the mixture fizzes and bubbles.
- Continue stirring for 1-2 minutes until the fizzing subsides.
- Add honey, ginger, or apple cider vinegar if desired.
- Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are combined.
- Drink immediately while fresh and fizzy.
- Consume on an empty stomach and wait 30 minutes before eating.
Notes
Always use food-grade baking soda and fresh lemon juice for best results. Drink immediately after preparation to maintain the active fizzing reaction. Start with small amounts if you are sensitive to baking soda.
